Active Ingredients per Tablet:

  • Paracetamol (Acetaminophen): An analgesic and antipyretic to relieve pain and fever.
  • Pseudoephedrine HCl: A decongestant to clear nasal and sinus congestion.
  • Diphenhydramine HCl: An antihistamine to control runny nose and sneezing, which also causes drowsiness.

Indications

For the temporary relief of multiple symptoms associated with the common cold and influenza, including:

  • Fever, headache, and minor body aches.
  • Nasal congestion and sinus pressure.
  • Runny nose and sneezing.

Dosage

For Adults and Children 12 years and older:

  • One tablet every 6 to 8 hours as needed.
  • Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours unless directed by a physician.

Warnings and Precautions

  • Causes Drowsiness: Due to Diphenhydramine, this medication causes marked drowsiness and dizziness. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or any other hazardous activities.
  • Avoid Alcohol: Do not consume alcohol, sedatives, or tranquilizers as they will intensify the sedative effect.
  • MAOI Interaction: Do not use if you are taking a Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (MAOI) for depression or Parkinson's disease, or for 14 days after stopping the MAOI drug. A dangerous hypertensive crisis can occur.
  • Paracetamol Overdose: Contains Paracetamol. Do not take with other Paracetamol-containing products to avoid severe liver damage.
  • Medical Conditions: Use with caution in patients with hypertension, heart disease, thyroid disease, glaucoma, or difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate.

Key Patient Advice

  • Due to the strong sedative effect, this medication is often best suited for nighttime use to aid with rest.
  • Always read the labels of other medications you are taking to ensure you are not accidentally doubling up on any of the active ingredients.
  • If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever, consult your doctor.
  • Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct light and out of the reach of children.
