Composition:
Each tablet contains:
Paracetamol (acetaminophen) .
Chlorpheniramine maleate ..
Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride

Congestal tablets contain a clinically proven analgesic, antipyretic
(Paracetamol), antihistaminic (Chlorpheniramine maleate) and
decongestant agent (Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride).
Indications and Usage:
Congestal is indicated for the symptomatic relief of:
- Fever and headache associated with common cold.
- Nasal congestion, sinus congestion and sinus pain.
- Runny nose, sneezing and itching of the nose and throat.
- Itchy watery eyes due to hay fever or respiratory allergies.
Precautions:
. If a rare sensitivity reaction occurs, the drug should be discontinued.
. Caution should be taken when driving a motor vehicle or operating
machinery.
Drug Interactions:
Congestal not to be taken if the patient is using monoamine oxidase
inhibitor (MAOI) drug, or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug.
Dosage and Administration:
- Adults and children 12 years of age and older: One tablet 3-4 times daily.
How Supplied:
- A box containing one blister of 10 tablets.
- A box containing two blisters, each of 10 tablets.
